Tribble writes the credentials. The relationship partner signs off.

Panel RFPs, outside counsel guidelines, client audits and fee proposals, answered from what your partners, general counsel and pricing team already approved.

Panel RFPs: Tribble describes each matter the way the client agreed. A matter with no consent on record goes to the relationship partner.

Outside counsel guidelines

Tribble drafts the acknowledgment from the positions your general counsel approved.

A bank’s new guidelines run to dozens of provisions on billing, staffing, data and now AI, and the firm has to accept each one or say where it can’t. Tribble answers every provision with the position your general counsel approved, as a comment in the client’s own document, adds the firm’s standard clarification as a tracked change where one applies, and sends a provision no position covers to the general counsel in Teams. A partner signs the acknowledgment.

  • Billing, staffing and data provisions answered from the positions your general counsel approved
  • A provision no position covers, like consent before using AI on a client’s matters, goes to the general counsel in Teams
  • A partner signs every acknowledgment. Tribble never accepts terms for the firm

Client security and data audits

Tribble answers each client’s audit without giving away who else you act for.

Banks and insurers audit their law firms like any supplier, then ask what only a law firm gets asked: who can open their matters, how files come back at the end, and sometimes which of their competitors you act for. Tribble answers topic by topic from your security, records and risk policies. A question that would mean naming another client goes to your general counsel, and the answer describes the process, never the client.

  • Data handling, breach reporting, screening and retention answered from your policies
  • Information barrier questions answered from the process your general counsel approved
  • No other client is ever named. Those questions go to the general counsel in Teams

Alternative fee proposals

Tribble scopes the fee proposal and leaves the numbers to pricing.

A client asks for a phased fee on its next acquisition: fixed for diligence, capped for the purchase agreement, a budget for closing. Tribble drafts each phase, its structure, the team and the assumptions from your pricing templates and past proposals. It leaves the fees out entirely for your pricing team to set, and anything no template covers, like a success-based element, goes to them with the draft.

  • Phases, fee structures, staffing and assumptions from your approved templates
  • A structure no template covers goes to pricing with the draft
  • Tribble never sets a fee. Your pricing team does

Pitch meetings · Tribble Engage

Tribble shows the partner what this client has already been told.

Before the panel meeting, the partner asks Tribble in Teams what Lucerne has heard from the firm so far. Tribble answers with what the response said on team and billing, what Lucerne’s guidelines ask, and the one answer approved since the response went in, each with its source. In the meeting, the partner says what the firm already put in writing, and nothing it hasn’t.

  • A brief before every pitch: what the client was told, what its guidelines ask and what changed since
  • Live suggestions on recorded meetings, with consent
  • Follow-ups drafted to Outlook, so partners send and file as they do today

FAQ

Common questions.

Will Tribble ever name a client who hasn’t agreed to it?

No. Tribble writes credentials from your credentials records and names a client only where the record says the client agreed. Where no consent is on record, the matter goes to the relationship partner, and their decision is kept for the next pitch.

Does Tribble run conflict checks or accept a client’s terms?

No. Tribble doesn’t check or clear conflicts, and it doesn’t accept terms for the firm. It drafts answers about your conflicts process and your positions on a client’s guidelines from what your general counsel approved, and a lawyer approves and signs.

Can Tribble answer a client’s outside counsel guidelines?

Yes. Tribble works through the guidelines provision by provision with the position your general counsel approved for each, and adds your standard clarification where one applies. A provision no position covers, like a new rule on AI use, goes to the general counsel before anything is accepted.

Does Tribble put prices in fee proposals?

No. Tribble drafts the phases, fee structures, team and assumptions from your pricing templates and past proposals. Your pricing team sets every fee.

How does Tribble handle diversity and staffing questionnaires?

Tribble answers from the firm-level figures and programs your firm has approved for clients. It doesn’t draw on any individual lawyer’s personal data, and a question no approved answer covers goes to its owner.

Is Tribble secure enough for client data?

Tribble is SOC 2 Type II compliant, and every source keeps its original permissions, so an answer never draws on a document the person asking couldn’t already open.

Can partners use Tribble before and during a pitch?

Yes. Tribble Engage briefs partners in Teams or Slack on what the client has been told, answers with the approved answer and its source, suggests answers live on recorded meetings, and drafts the follow-up to Outlook for the partner to send.

How is this different from our experience database?

An experience database holds matter records. Tribble drafts the answer from them, shows its source, and sends anything it isn’t sure of to the right partner.
